Why choose Peñíscola?
This region of Spain also known as the Orange Blossom Coast is as the travel writer Simon Calder put it 'the coastline the Spaniards have kept for themselves'. Known as the City in the Sea, with its Templar Castle and medieval walls that are enchantingly surrounded by water. In 1972 Peñiscola was declared to be an Historical Conservation Area, and in October 2015 it was a location for filming of Game of Thrones.

The Sunday Times wrote “How on earth has a medieval city all but surrounded by the sea, with a humongous Templar castle, magnificent beaches and a passion for food that keeps more than 200 restaurants in business, managed to keep itself out of UK’s holiday limelight?” Peñíscola is buzzing in the summertime, the long sandy beaches combined with the shallow, calm waters in such a unique and stunning setting make it a great destination for families. Peñíscola is a very family friendly destination, you will receive a warm welcome in restaurants and shops from the locals.  It also appeals to youngsters with its ample nightlife with the many bars and clubs.
